To Whom This May Concern:

I have know Miriam Yauk for approximately seven years, as a performance studies major and alumna. Miriam has always demonstrated avid interest in performance studies, theater, and communication. She is a skilled performer, communicator, teacher, and director. She has always shown an interest in developing a wide range of performance and communication skills. I have observed that Miriam has been consistently hard-working, determined, and persevering in every project in she has been involved. She has set high of standards for herself in each endeavor. She has had a teachable attitude and willingness to continue to grow professionally.

As well as having demonstrated leadership, Miriam has displayed concern for others and a willingness to be an active member of a team.   She has a heart for teaching and directing young people. I have observed her with her students and professional colleagues. I have seen Miriam lead her students to produce exceptional work. I have also seen the collegial relationship which she has with her professional peers. I highly recommend Miriam as a teacher, director, and as a member of a professional team.
