ASSISTANTSHIPS
GRADUATE ASSISTANTSHIPS - Texas Tech University offers production
(front-of-house and technical) and teaching assistantships
for students in all graduate programs: MA, MFA (Acting/Directing,
Design, Playwriting, Theatre Management), and interdisciplinary PhD in
Fine Arts. Individualized training is emphasized in this heavily
production-oriented department. Assistantships allow for in-state
student status, greatly reducing the already low tuition rates. Stipend
of $8,500-$9,000 for 9 months, with possible summer awards. Outstanding,
nationally recognized faculty, excellent facilities. Five mainstage and
four Lab productions annually. For admission, apply on-line at
www.ttu.edu/gradschool; for assistantships and
departmental admissions
information, contact Dr. Jonathan Marks, Graduate Advisor, TEXAS TECH
UNIVERSITY, Department of Theatre and Dance, Box 42061, Lubbock, TX
