Update- 1/12/2001
We are doing well. My husband was transferred to Arkansas with his job this past July. I began working
towards my Master's degree this past semester through the University of Texas at Brownsville Telecampus.
They offer a fully accredited program completely through distance learning. This was the best scenario for me
since I am currently at home taking care of my son and our new little baby girl (born Oct. 17). I am extremely
proud of the fact that I managed a 4.0 last semster despite giving birth and being rehospitalized with complications.
The professors were wonderful in helping me get caught up. The Master's program is in Educational Technology.
Our game plan is for me to work on and earn my Master's and Doctorate, while I am caring for our children
and before returning to work when they enter school.
